Annual Bell Street Chapel Marsh Clean Up
May 20 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am

Come to our twice-annual cleanup at Bell Street’s adopted marsh on the Providence waterfront, Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to about 10 a.m. We meet at the marsh, located at the waterfront end of Oxford Street, off Allens Avenue.

If you are interested in participating in this fun event to help our city and our environment, please sign up by contacting Meredyth Whitty at MeredythWhitty@gmail.com or (401) 451-2322. Please provide the best way to contact you (text, call or email) that morning in case of very bad weather. (We’re on unless it’s pouring, in which case, we’ll have a rain date of June 3.)

No pets or small children please, due to the sketchy nature of the trash we find there. (As always, there is a semi-fabulous prize for whoever finds the most sketchiness.) Wear sturdy shoes, and work gloves if you have them, and bring your own cool beverage, please. Those interested often go to breakfast across Allens Avenue at the Seaplane Diner afterwards, which is always a delicious and fun time. You can help even more by bringing a friend and sharing this info and the signup link with your friends on social media.
