After-Service Refreshments & Conversation
Feb 2 @ 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

Join us each week downstairs for light refreshments and conversation after worship. Sometimes it is just cider and juice and conversation in the Chapel Lobby. For the first Sunday of the month, we often have a more robust spread and coffee and tea in Eddy Hall. Sometimes we have a special event, like a potluck or a luncheon in Eddy Hall. (See the blog or the newsletter for specifics!) Get to know Bell Street members better, find out about local events and find new ways to get involved. Let us spend time together and bring deeper conversations to our worship together.

Community Meeting with Senator Sam Bell @ Eddy Hall
Feb 8 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Community Meeting with Senator Sam Bell @ Eddy Hall

A community discussion concerning city funding for the libraries, the recreation centers and other non-profits since the City of Providence has to make the next payment to the RI Department of Education on the money that they owe. The Mayor is proposing to raise taxes on homeowners, but not on large commercial building owners and is likely going to have to cut funding to these organizations which provide basic services to residents.
