A community discussion concerning city funding for the libraries\, the recreation cent ers and other non-profits since the City of Providence has to make the nex t payment to the RI Department of Education on the money that they owe. Th e Mayor is proposing to raise taxes on homeowners\, but not on large comme rcial building owners and is likely going to have to cut funding to these organizations which provide basic services to residents.
